Venture Capital in Arizona has dropped in all categories reported by the PricewaterhouseCoopers MoneyTree Report (Seed, Early, Expand, Later-Stage), but seed-stage money coming into Arizona has been reduced to a trickle since the bursting of the tech bubble in late 2000.

New Human Services Data
Visit Human Services for data through 2008 on the percentage of Arizona residents living in poverty, calls to the Community Information Referral hotline, and total pounds of food distributed by Arizona food banks. Additionally, 2009 data are now available for basic assistance indicators, such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and Unemployment Insurance. Updates to Child Protective Services data are also available.
